Elizabeth's practice focuses primarily on guardianship and incapacity planning, vulnerable adult protection, estate planning, and estate and trust administration. She is a Title 11 Guardian ad Litem for King and Snohomish Counties in Washington State and has been appointed by the King County Superior Court to serve as Administrator in a number of estate administration proceedings.
Elizabeth was involved in the Elder Law Practice Group at the University of St. Thomas’s Legal Services Clinic, where she advocated for low income seniors facing exploitation, eviction, and termination of services. She also served as Senior Editor and Associate Editor on the St. Thomas Law Journal.
During law school, and for a period thereafter, she worked for Minnesota attorney Kirk C. Thompson in the areas of Social Security, PERA, and long term disability law. She has written several successful appellate briefs both at the administrative level and to the federal courts.
